Bingo.com joins Ethoca
The popular online-bingo operator joined the community of companies under the infrastructure put in place by Ethoca, which have come together in the common interest of combating fraud in online gaming.
More and more people are turning to online games for their entertainment, and as traffic increases so does the opportunity and risk of fraud being committed.
“We consider it critical to share information to progress,” said Henry Bromley, CFO of Bingo.com. “Joining Ethoca’s collaborative fraud management community is a logical step for our business to fight fraud and enhance profitability.”
Bingo.com is one of the leaders in online bingo, with over 1.8 million people registered from all parts of the world, which is why their addition to the anti-fraud community is a really good sign for the industry as a whole.
“We are excited to have Bingo.com join as a member of the anti-fraud community,” said Andre Edelbrock, CEO of Ethoca. “With the growth in the online gaming community and increased customer-not-present transactions, Ethoca will help Bingo.com reduce the cost of fraud by leveraging the shared experiences of the community. Ethoca’s collaborative fraud management enables Bingo.com to tackle the on-going problem of online fraud and drive company profits forward.”
